NEW JERSEY
In the 2024 general election in New Jersey, voters turned out in robust numbers, with roughly 63 % of registered voters in Atlantic County casting ballots.

At the top of the ticket, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, Andy Kim, won the open seat, succeeding the embattled former Senator Bob Menendez, who resigned amid corruption charges.

In the presidential contest, the Democratic nominee carried the state—but by a margin much narrower than in previous cycles, reflecting a noticeable shift toward the Republicans.

Meanwhile, all twelve U.S. House seats were contested, and the status quo largely held.

Overall, the election underscored New Jersey’s ongoing Democratic lean in federal contests, but also signaled growing competitiveness and voter appetite for change.
